THEE TAX LAB / TAX LAB ACADEMY
Tax Preparation

Your business isn’t generic. Your tax return shouldn’t be either.

Individual and business filing built around how your business actually makes money — not a worksheet designed for the client before you. You work directly with Andrea every season, not a rotating cast of seasonal preparers.

Filing for individuals, self-employed professionals, and small business owners — in person or virtual.

The problem with tax season

Most filing experiences are built to move you through, not understand you.

01

Overpaying the IRS every year because deductions your business qualifies for never get found.

02

Records that are disorganized enough that filing feels like a scramble instead of a plan.

03

Real anxiety about an audit letter — and no idea who to call if one shows up.

04

A preparer who disappears after April 15th, right when the next year's decisions are being made.

What we handle

Everything your filing needs, under one advisor.

Every service below is delivered by Andrea directly — not routed to whoever's available that day.

Personal

Individual Tax Returns

Precise, fully compliant filing that finds every credit and deduction your actual situation qualifies for.

Business

Business Tax Returns

Filing built around your entity — LLC, S-corp, sole prop — and how your business really operates, not a generic template.

Year-round

Strategic Tax Planning

Ongoing planning so decisions you make in June don't create a surprise in April. Tax strategy, not just tax filing.

Protection

Audit Representation

If the IRS sends a letter, you're not on your own. Direct representation and guidance through the entire process.

Security

IP PIN Setup

A six-digit Identity Protection PIN that stops anyone else from filing a return using your SSN or ITIN.

Advisory

Business Formation Guidance

Registration, entity structure, and tax-compliance planning for entrepreneurs getting a new business off the ground.

How it works

Three steps. No hand-offs.

A short intake before your appointment so the conversation is about strategy, not paperwork.

03

File, and plan ahead

Questions before you book

What clients ask first

What documents do I need to bring to my appointment?
Photo ID, Social Security or ITIN numbers for you and any dependents, prior-year returns if this is your first season with us, and all income documents (W-2s, 1099s, K-1s). For business returns, bring income and expense records or your bookkeeping export. Your intake form will confirm exactly what applies to your situation.
Do you handle both personal and business returns?
Yes. Most clients come to us for exactly this reason — one advisor who sees the full picture, instead of a personal preparer and a separate business accountant who never talk to each other.
Can you file if I have income from more than one state?
Yes, multi-state returns are handled as part of our standard filing process — no separate referral required.
What happens if I get audited later?
You call Andrea, not a general support line. Audit representation and guidance is part of working with us — you're not left to interpret an IRS letter on your own.
How long should I keep my records after filing?
The general rule is at least three years from your filing date, longer if you have significant deductions, business assets, or unreported income to consider. We'll flag anything specific to your situation during your appointment.
Do you only work with clients during tax season?
No — this is a deliberate difference from most preparers. Strategic planning happens throughout the year so the decisions you make in your business today don't create surprises at filing time.
